INGREDIENTS:
· Chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on.
· 4 TBS. Spice Spice Baby’s Original Garlic OG spice blend
· 1/3 Cup Honey
· ¼ Cup of Chicken Broth/Stock
· 2 TBS Rice Wine Vinegar
· 1 TBS Soy Sauce
· S and P to Taste
METHOD:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F
2. Generously season the chicken with Spice Spice Baby’s OG rub
3. On high heat, heat a non-stick frying pan or cast iron skillet until it is very hot. Sear the chicken thighs (skin side first) in the pan for 3 minutes on each side
4. If using a cast iron skillet, transfer the chicken into the hot oven and cook for 20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. If using a frying pan, transfer the chicken to an oven safe sheet tray and cook the same way
5. For the sauce: in a small to medium sauce pan combine the chicken broth/stock, vinegar, honey and soy sauce and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to a medium heat and let the sauce reduce for 3-4 minutes further
6. With a pastry brush, brush the cooked chicken with the sauce, pour the excess sauce right over the rest of the chicken as well. Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes
